The Designer

Hi , I’m Luísa and Flare is one of my dreams.

I design and develop the pattern of each model an then I subcontract local manufacturers for production. 

We have a timeless collection, altered by the introduction of new models.

We give main preference to natural materials and we buy materials from dead stock retailers.

I am from Porto in Portugal, and my atelier is at a beach house nearby.

I do not believe clothes are art. 

I do believe bodies are.

And so my designs aim to embellish a work of art, for a normal occasion or for a very special one - depending on your shopping mood.   

  • Seasonless permanent collection

    The collection
    is permanent varying according to the new designs introduced. The atelier has a
    policy of no discounts, aligned with its production approach.

    According
    to the costumers needs and desires and the atelier knowledge, bespoke items are
    developed and produced.

  • Workshops of natural dyeing process, pattern making & draping

    Foreseen to
    start in the summer of 2022, this workshops will be held in Flare´s atelier,
    where part of the production is made.
